Boating in Lewes since 1874

Lewes Rowing Club has provided members with the facilities for recreational use of the River Ouse since Victorian times.

We are a small boating club with members who sail, motor, canoe or row on the river - or out to sea !

Please note that High Tide at Lewes Rowing Club occurs approximately one hour after High Tide at Newhaven.  For craft planning a longer trip or out to sea it is important to know that Low Tide at Lewes Rowing Club occurs approximately three hours after Low Tide at Newhaven.
